prepaid and pre-paid cell phones
What if you say, "I don’t want to pay a deposit to get my free phone."
Another great route is to go prepaid. Just buy the phone. We have found some great deals on cell phones for prepaid plans. They cost a lot less than the deposit on free phone plans and you own the phone and can resell it on eBay if you want to change phones.
Prepaid gives you all kinds of flexibility. Rates are good, you can call nationwide on any day at any time. No plan restrictions! That’s what I like. You can buy a really cool phone so cheap. Put a little money into minutes and you are off and running. Top up your phone whenever you have a little extra cash.
So simple and keeps your cell phone from breaking the bank. Who can tell the future? What you like today you may not like tomorrow. Free cell phones come with two year cellular plans that are hard to get out of. With prepaid you can change phones or carriers at any time! Sell your phone, give it to a friend, recycle it and get a new model. It all up to you. You’re the boss!
Tip:
Ask friends and family to give you gift cards for minutes on birthdays and holidays. You can also get lots of free minutes taking online surveys or referring friends. I really think prepaid is a great way to go. I some ways prepaid is better than a free cell phone with a plan because you can keep your independence and keep your cell phone in tune with current styles and trends.
