Jim Bromley - President - Nordstrom Direct
Prior to joining Nordstrom.com Jim was Senior VP and CFO at Multiple Zones and Zones.com a B2B and B2C computer hardware vendor. He assisted Multiple Zones with its initial public offering in 1996. Jim spent thirteen years as an investment banker most recently as Managing Director with McDonald Investments, a subsidiary of Keycorp, focused on mergers and acquisitions. He began his career in corporate finance at First Boston in 1986, where he was involved in a range of equity and debt financings and mergers and acquisitions, primarily for retail and consumer products companies.
Ranjit Mulgaonkar - VP Product Management and Biz Dev - Avalara
Mr. Mulgaonkar brings over 20 years of senior management experience in the Internet, e-commerce, payment processing, desktop publishing and digital imaging industries. In prior years Mr. Mulgaonkar was the Senior Vice President with Network Commerce where he built the e-business services divisions from ground up to over $20 million in revenues and participated in a successful IPO raising over $300 Million. Ranjit was the General Manager of Products at iCat Corporation which was bought by Intel Corporation in 1999. At iCat Ranjit was responsible for creating and launching e-commerce products and services for small and mid size businesses who wanted to sell products and services online. Ranjit was the Vice President and General Manager for Moore Corporation (Moore-Donnelley) where he launched the Interactive Marketing Solutions Division to provide 1:1 marketing solutions using on-demand printing technologies. Ranjit also managed all of Moore's corporate software development efforts as the Vice President of Research. Prior to joining Moore, Ranjit was the Product Marketing Manager at Xerox Corporation and was responsible for forming a worldwide alliance between Fuji, Scitex, Rank Xerox leading to the introduction of DocuColor40 which generated over $700 Million in revenues for Xerox. At Aldus (Now Adobe) Ranjit was responsible for forming the Aldus Prepress Division that introduced five revolutionary software products for the printing and publishing industry in early 1990.
Mr. Mulgaonkar holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and an Undergraduate Degree in Electronics & Telecommunications, and Executive Management training from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Mr. Mulgaonkar has published many papers and articles and spoken in over 40 conferences worldwide.
